About my thinking

“To get what you want, you have to deserve what you want. The world is not yet a crazy enough place to reward a whole bunch of undeserving people.”

As an economist and investor, I stand in the tradition of thought of the Austrian School of Economics – in particular as represented by Ludwig von Mises (1881-1971), Murray N. Rothbard (1926-1995) and Hans Hermann Hoppe (* 1949). The economic and social theoretical considerations of this doctrine aim to identify, understand and disseminate the cornerstones of humane, peaceful and productive human coexistence.

I have always been particularly interested in combining theory and practice to analyze capital market developments – and international monetary developments and changes in the credit and money markets play a key role for me. The monetary theory of the Austrian School of Economics in particular shows that very important findings can be found here for estimating future economic, financial market and stock market developments.

My aim is to provide the readers of Dr. Polleit‘s BOOM & BUST REPORT with the knowledge that will enable them to invest their money prudently and profitably.I am convinced that the financial independence that can be achieved in this way is important in order to be able to lead a successful life – in other words, to be able to make self-determined choices and take action, regardless of what goals you are actually pursuing.

The times we live in – I like to call them “the age of anti-enlightenment” – make it difficult for many people to find access to the “good theories” and the right investment approaches.Unfortunately, modern economics in particular is making it difficult or impossible for people to recognize and understand basic economic, monetary and financial relationships – with negative consequences for their money and capital investments.

So with Dr. Polleit’s BOOM & BUST REPORT, I also want to educate: to provide readers with correct and prudent interpretations and perspectives so that they can ultimately make good and correct investment decisions.I am convinced that this will become increasingly important for investment success in the times ahead – and that the risk of suffering capital losses with inadequate or even incorrect knowledge will increase rapidly.

Every issue of Dr. Polleit’s BOOM & BUST REPORT should be of benefit to readers and provide them with reliable and useful knowledge. That is the standard I set for my analytical and explanatory work and by which I want to be measured.
